Pick the right fabric & GSM

GSM (grams per square meter) is the single most important number when choosing a nonwoven bag. Higher GSM means a thicker, heavier fabric that carries more load and lasts longer — lower GSM keeps the bag light and soft. Use this guide to match the grade to your bag's end use.

GSM grades

Lightweight
40 – 60 GSM

Best for: Fashion totes, branded carry bags, lightweight hampers

Airy soft handle, not suited for heavy grocery loads. Best for premium feel where weight matters.

Standard
60 – 90 GSM

Best for: Everyday shopping bags, pharmacy bags, reusable carry bags

The balanced sweet spot — durable enough for daily use without losing the soft nonwoven handle.

Durable
90 – 120 GSM

Best for: W-Cut grocery bags, supermarket hampers, bulk distribution bags

Thicker fabric that withstands wet loads, spills, and long shelf life on shelves.

Premium
120 – 180 GSM

Best for: Industrial carry bags, cold-storage hampers, branded premium bags

Maximum body and density. Ideal when bag must carry weight or survive heavy-handed stocking.

Material qualities

Spunbond Nonwoven

Our flagship fabric. Bonded fibres hold firm under load while keeping a soft, collapsible fold. Best for shopping and carry bags.

Mesh Nonwoven

Airier fibre density for tote bags and lightweight carry. Less resistance, lighter per-roll yield, faster cutting.

Laminated Nonwoven

Two bonded layers for extra body and grip. Heavier per bag, suited to industrial and cold-storage applications.
